Kathleen Loe is a multi-media artist and independent art writer, living in Hudson, NY. She has been a Visiting Critic at Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, and Louisiana State University, and visiting faculty at Tulane University. Kathleen writes critical essays for artists' exhibitions, monographs, and art journals. She has taught both studio arts and art history and served on the faculties of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art, Brittany, France, Illinois Wesleyan University, and Bloomfield College, New Jersey. Her work has been exhibited in the Frederick R. Weisman Museum in Los Angeles, the Jersey City Museum, the Aspen Museum, the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art and the Laguna Gloria Museum in Austin, TX. Loe's work is available through galleries, directly from the studio, and by commission.
